This 5-day course takes a complete novice to a competent surveillance photographer and is designed for those already operating on mobile surveillance teams. The course has been widely delivered to UK Police forces, Regional Police Units and Counter Terrorist teams. First developed in 2006 for one of the regional CT teams it has been constantly developed and improved in line with new technology and techniques.
Formerly a BTEC qualification it is now on the National Regulated Qualification Framework through QNUK thereby giving successful Learners a nationally recognised qualification at level 4. Developed and delivered by a former National Police Trainer with over 20 years of operational surveillance experience this course delivers the best imagery training available together with a huge amount of tradecraft.
Learners on this course are able to obtain the Manual of Surveillance Imagery, written by the Course Trainer with 17 chapters covering every aspect of the skill. This covers everything from photographic theory, through tradecraft, equipment advice, every aspect of shooting, the evidential side, the law and stated cases, all you need to know and more.
